Old Grau and Aiora life still runs on these avenue benches rather than in any square: neighbours sit out mid-morning and again before dinner, and they swap sides of the avenue with the season — sunny side from autumn to spring, shaded side all summer. It looks like people waiting for the metro; almost nobody there is going anywhere.
