Mostly running after work along the riverbed, with people meeting at the foot of the bridge before moving on, families coming down at dusk, and in July groups sitting outside the concert enclosure to listen from the edge.
When Viveros shuts at dusk the families don't go home — they come down this ramp into the riverbed and carry on for another hour, because nothing down here closes or has a gate.

During the July concerts in Viveros people sit on the ground outside the fenced enclosure and on the riverbed edge behind it, because the sound carries perfectly and you hear the whole set for nothing. Groups form up an hour or so before it starts.

The busiest running stretch in the city after work, and it runs on unwritten lanes: runners on the packed sand, bikes on the asphalt. Groups mass at the bridge mouths and everyone stretches afterwards against the ramp walls rather than standing in the path.
