Mostly sitting on the wide steps above the basin, picnics on the narrow east lawn at weekends, skating on the apron under the towers after school, small children at the dragon slide, and the last light from the top rows.
The only proper grass in the park is the narrow east strip, so blankets stack up on it while the whole concrete half stays empty. Families take the end nearest the slide.

The big dragon is the meeting point for the whole neighbourhood's small kids after school. Parents stand along the railing above rather than sit, because there is little shade down there.
