Dogs off the lead only happen inside the fenced run — the rest of Parc Central is properly patrolled, unlike the riverbed. The same handful of owners turn up at the same two slots and stand talking far longer than the dogs need.

In summer the kids end up in the shallow water channels around the Casa del Reloj in swimsuits, and the parents just accept it and sit along the stone edge. It's the closest thing to a paddling pool in this half of the city.
