Mostly petanca on the gravel at one side, dog-walking just after sunrise and again late at night, and a fenced playground that fills between five and eight; probably the same faces twice a day.
The dog crowd owns the park at the two edges of the day — just after sunrise and again after ten at night, when the kids have gone. It's the only real off-lead patch inside Russafa, so the same dogs and the same owners see each other twice daily.
