Players set up against the curved church wall at the bottom of the strip, where the sound holds instead of scattering. The listeners take the first two benches and the rest of the passeig carries on as a walking line.

The benches down the middle fill from the church end first — that half holds the shade and is within earshot of whoever is playing. Groups sit facing along the passeig rather than towards the buildings, and the far end stays half empty.
Cans and bottles come from the small shops on carrer del Rec and carrer de la Vidrieria on the way in.
