Dogs stay off this sand in season, so the walking happens on the promenade at first light and after dark. Anyone wanting to let the dog off carries on up the coast to the dog stretch at Llevant.

The seaward lane is a commuting route, not a promenade: people ride it fast from Poblenou up to the Fòrum. The crossings are at the ramps down to the sand, and that is where it goes wrong.
