Picnics pine clearings of the Devesa between the CV-500 and the lake, north of the Pujol turn
People picnic back in the pines rather than at the water, because the lake edge has no shade and the mosquitoes come off the rice water at dusk. Groups pull the tables together in the clearings just off the road and the cars park nose-in on the sand between the trunks.
