Sitting and talking The water-pool edges beside the Hemisfèric and the Umbracle, Penya-roja side
Once the ticket queues are gone in the evening the low stone edges along the pools become local sitting-out space — feet in the water, kids paddling the shallow rim, on summer nights when the flats are unbearable. Daytime it's all photographs; after dark it's people from the streets two blocks away.
