Mostly sitting and waiting for people on the benches and, with little shade yet, squeezed onto the shadow line at the edges from midday until about seven; Sunday mornings a ring of craft and bric-a-brac stalls, packed up by early afternoon.

Since the square was rebuilt it finally has free benches, so it's become the default 'see you at the Reina' waiting spot instead of standing under the Micalet. The new trees give almost no shade yet, so from midday to about seven everyone is squeezed onto the benches on the shadow line at the edges and the middle is empty.

Informal market the ring inside Plaça Redonda

Sunday morning the circle fills with stalls set out around the central fountain — crafts, bric-a-brac, sewing and lace things — and you shuffle round it in one direction because the ring is narrow. Get there before noon; by early afternoon it's gone.
